The Drafting Pit allows truck operators to learn the fine art of drafting from a static water source. The pit itself is full of water with baffles to minimize air in the water.

The Pit is also used for truck pump testing and certification. A flow meter can be installed inside the tube allowing pump flows to be measured and compared to their standard operating criteria.
