The Extinguisher Project is simply a large pan which can be filled with fuel and water. The fires can then be extinguished utilizing portable extinguishers. Proper technique is very important since the fuel can be gouged and flaming spray sent out of the pan.

This project was designed to teach the non-firefighter the proper techniques of using portable extinguishers. Plans are to incorporate it into the community fire extinguisher training program.
